Testimonials

"The Plant Group's smart irrigation system is the best investment we have ever made for our community garden. We rely on our clients and volunteers to maintain our garden, so coordinating consistent watering was a challenge. The smart irrigation system automates the watering process, providing real time monitoring of the soil to make sure our garden always has the right amount of water to encourage maximum growth. The results have been amazing - our plants have never looked better! The dashboard is so easy that anyone can use it effectively. Austin and his team have been so helpful with setting up the system and answering our questions. Thank you for creating this solution to our watering problem and helping our garden flourish!"

"Incorporating the solar powered smart irrigation system has been a true game changer for Life Do Grow farm. We are an entirely off-grid, community based urban farm. As such, water has always been a significant barrier to our growth. Ever since installing the solar irrigation system, however, our 40ft hoop house has significantly increased its efficiency. We now have our water tanks set to automatically water our vegetable rows for 30min, two times a day, and the impact has been tremendous. Our tomatoes have continued to flourish well into December, and that is largely due to the consistency in water which we have not been able to provide before. Moving forward, we see this as a key component to the growth of our urban farm."

FAQ

What is green infrastructure?

When rain falls on our roofs, streets, and parking lots, the water cannot soak into the ground as it should. If not managed well, it can lead to flooding, sewer overflows, and water pollution. Unlike conventional gray infrastructure, which uses pipes, storm drains, and treatment facilities to manage stormwater, green infrastructure uses vegetation, soils, and other natural landscape features to manage wet weather impacts, reduce and treat stormwater at its source, and create sustainable and healthy communities.

How much water do your smart irrigation systems save?

Plant Group’s smart irrigation system senses the environment and helps growers use 25% less irrigation water.

What are the health benefits of your hemp food products?

With a nearly perfect balance of protein, omega 3 to omega 6, plus iron, vitamin E, and all of the essential amino acids, hemp seeds are said to be the most nutritionally complete food source in the world.

How much rainwater do your systems divert?

Our rainwater harvesting systems divert 675 gallons per month.
